1 x 4230. This is our specially made, tapered fixing pin and nut for the securing of the Steering column couplings on the Jaguar XK140 & XK150 models, inc. the 1/4" UNF lock nut.

It has been produced to our own specifications, for the very best fit, here in the West Midlands (UK).

NOTE : Made to our slightly oversize spec., to compensate for wear, so if it is tight fitting through your column, to secure the nut completely, then it can be gently taken down by placing the thread (carefully) into a drill chuck and skimming it down with wet and dry or a uniform light file from thread to end. Remember that we are restoring very old vehicles and you cannot make components bigger, but you can turn them down to fit perfectly into a taper!
